My business is the outsourcing of personnel in many industries and sectors, including tourism and manufacturing. In these most challenging times, facing uncertainty, my first decision was that I was adamant that no jobs would be lost. A total of 1,500 jobs were affected by the current situation but, through using some company savings combined with state aid, we will manage to retain all the jobs. I didn’t stop there! The state aid is ultimately taxpayers’ money, so I decided that those employees affected would not get to stay at home and receive the benefit, but should instead help councils and public entities by providing voluntary assistance with light jobs such as cleaning and maintenance.
